identify those eligible learners for the summer classes. Once these students are
identified, the students’ parents’ attention will be called and their consent acquired. Once
the list is finalized, concerned subject teachers will be tapped to create a list of least
learned competencies. A schedule of classes to be agreed upon by the school head and
concerned teachers will be established that will address the 6-week period requirement.

Participating students in the summer class are expected to come in time for the
scheduled classes and participate in the required activities. Students will be provided
activity sheets and other instructional materials for their specific learning areas.
Depending on the learner’s profile, the delivery mode of this summer class shall be a
combination of face-to-face, modular, or on-line learning.

The summer class is set to start on April 23, 2018 to address the 6-week period non-
negotiable contact time with teachers.
