From the table above, it can be seen that most of the respondents studied were between
15-29 years old as many as 43 people (43.43%), while a small number of respondents were aged

From the table above, it can be seen that most of the respondents in the study have the
same level of education as high as 35 people (35.35%), 16 college graduates (16.16%), 14 college
14.14%) while the other smallest is not yet finished high school and not attended school as much as
1 person (1.01%).

Table 5 shows that the majority of respondents who researched the community around RSGM FKG
Unpad as many as 84 respondents or 84.84% know the difference between the dentist with the
dentist. In addition, this table also shows that most respondents as many as 68 people or 68.68% do
not know the laws that regulate the opening of dental practice.

From the table above, it was found that most of the respondents had less
knowledge about dental worker as much as 40 people (40.40%), the second most frequent
frequency was 37 people (37.37%) and at least from respondent which has a good level of
knowledge as much as 22 people (22.22%).

Community knowledge is influenced by socioeconomic, cultural, educational conditions.

Therefore, there is a connection between the two.

Based on the above table, it was found that from 48 men, 10 people (10.10%) had a good
level of knowledge, 17 people (17.17%) had moderate level of knowledge, and 21 people (21.21 %)
have a low level of knowledge.

From the table above, it was found that from 43 respondents aged between 15-29 years,
7.07% had a good level of knowledge, 19.19% had a moderate level of knowledge, and 17.17% less
knowledge. Of 33 people aged between 30-44 years, 12.12% had a good level of knowledge, 11.11%
had moderate knowledge level, and another 10.10% had less knowledge. Of the 15 people between
the ages of 45-59 years, as many as 5 people have a moderate level of knowledge while 10 others
have less knowledge level. Of 8 people aged 60 years and over, as many as 3 people (3.03%) had a
good level of knowledge, as many as 2 people (2.02%) had a moderate level of knowledge and 3
others (3.03%) had a level less knowledge.

From the table above shows that respondents who are not in school have knowledge about
the medium dentist of 1.01%. While the respondents who have primary, junior high, and senior high
school education have less knowledge, that is 6 people (6,06%), 7 person (7.0,0%), and 19 person
(19,19%). This is different from respondents who have college education, the majority have
knowledge about the dentist is a good and good as many as 11 respondents.

Table 10 shows the linkage of work to the knowledge of the masses about the dentist. The
table shows that respondents who work as private employees, majority have medium knowledge and
less that is equal to 8 people (8,08%). While majority housewives have knowledge that amounts to 10
people.

From the table above, it was found that most of the people who were used as research
samples were 72 people (72.72%) never came to the dentist, the second most frequent was
respondents who had come more than one visit as many as 16 people (16 , 16%) and at least one
respondent who had once treated 11 people (11.11%).

Based on the above table, it is known that of the 27 people who ever went to the Tukang
Gigi, as many as 9 people (33.33%) came to the dentist for filling, making dentures as many as 11
people (40.74%), tooth extraction 6 (22.22%), and the least were the respondents who came to the
Tukang gigi for dental scalling ie only 1 person (5%).

From table 13 it can be seen that almost all respondents in Lebakgede urban village of
Bandung around RSGM FKG Unpad who came to the dentist because of self desire as many as 21
people (77,78%), very few of the respondents came to the dental officer because of the invitation
from friends or neighbors as many as 5 people (18.52%), and very few others only 1 person (3.70%)
because of the invitation of the family.
