Here's a quick list of companies/websites you could google below (in no particular

order). They're all industrial investors, although many of them not exclusively. Left a
couple notes, but there's probably more context I could provide if you ask if anything
specific is intriguing. There are publicly traded companies here, larger private
companies, some family money and some competent local developers as well. Look
and see if there's anything you could apply for on careers sections, but also, check
linkedin & see if you're connected to anyone who works at some of these places.

I will put some thought into people who you could meet with as well & get back to you.

Publicly Traded
Duke Realty (Indiana based. Tends to focus on new development of bigger buildings.
Just hired a credible person as their head of acq. for the local region)
- Warehouse/distribution facilities, development, property management, and
leasing
First Industrial (based in Chicago, with a local presence in El Segundo, this is where
Jonah works)
- REIT, bulk and regional warehouses, R&D buildings, and manufacturing, also
customized developments
Prologis (based in SF, with a local presence I think in Cerritos? They're the largest
player in the industry)
- Logistics Real Estate, commerce centers
PS Business Parks (kind of an odd shop, with a focus on smaller, more office-y
product, but credible nonetheless)
- Public storage and similar buildings
Terreno (based in SF, very credible investor, focused on coastal gateway markets in
the US including So Cal, but not limited to)
- Warehouse and distribution, flex buildings, manufacturing and R&D, went public
to take on foreclosures and troubled loan
CenterPoint Properties (based in midwest, I think, but their major capital partner is
CalPERS)
- Coastal and inland port logistics markets

Private
Black Creek Group (Colorado based, but has a small local presence)
- Real estate Investment management firms, develop and acq.
TA Realty – all types of real estate (office, multifamily, retail), all aspects of real estate
value-add closed-end funds, a core open-end fund and customized separate/advisory
accounts
CT Realty – logistic and e-commerce real estate
LBA Logistics – logistic and office portfolio, mostly west coast
Shubin-Nadal – all types of commercial real estate on the west coast
Xebec Realty – distribution centers/warehouse/fulfillment centers
Bridge Development Partners (based in midwest, but has a growing local presence
based in El Segundo, someone from our construction team just moved over there)
Blackstone – Investment group
BKM Capital Partners (small incubator industrial, growing, but private & feels very new
in terms of access to funds) – investment firm that acquires and rehabs multi tenant
industrial business parks

Goodman Birtcher
Pacific Industrial
Hackman Capital Partners – investment and operator of industrial and commercial
Lincoln Property Company - very diverse portfolio of multi-family, retail, and
commercial
Westcore Properties – international investment firm. Multi-tenant industrial and office
properties
Shea Properties - acquisition, design, development, construction, leasing and
management of business parks, shopping centers, apartment communities and mixed-use
environments (California, Colorado, wash state)
