in a field with her
friend NATALIE (23) as

groupmates to arrive
to work on their
project.
From a distance, Evie
sees CLOUD (22), one
of her groupmates
who is wearing a Evie’s P. O.
2. 1 ELS - LS
uniform, a backpack V
and is holding a
GUITAR
in one hand.
Cloud arrives panting
and sweaty, as he ran
3. 1 across the field MLS Camera
towards them.
Evie MIMES late,
pointing at her CLOCK
and at him back and
4. 1 forth with a
disgruntled look that
quickly fades to a
smile.

5. 1 Cloud smiles back.

Evie then sees Cloud’s

guitar and points
6. 1 toward it shooting
him a curious look
asking if it’s his.
Cloud nods with a
tired look on his face
7. 1 as he leans on his
knees trying to catch
his breath.
Natalie approaches
Cloud trying to talk
8. 1 to him, who was
still leaning on his
knees.
As she approaches,
Cloud places his bag
and guitar on the
9. 1 ground. Evie looks at
them as they talk. No
sound was heard
 except for the noise
of her surroundings
and then --
Evie’s phone vibrates
loudly in her pocket,
realizing she
has just received a
10. 1 message. She grabs her
PHONE and sees a
message from one of
her groupmates DYLAN

Evie stares at her
phone as she waits for
Dylan’s reply.
Focus slowly
transitions from the
phone to the guitar in
11. 1 the background behind
it. Evie focuses her
attention on the
guitar, blurring out
the phone and the text
that has just
arrived.
She ignores the
12. 1 thought.
Natalie then asks her
if she wants to start
13. 1 setting up them
work.

14. 1 Evie agrees.

Evie and Natalie start

to set up. Evie places
15. 2 her bag on
the ground.
Evie’s bag is placed
16. 2 on the floor.
Cloud jokingly MIMES
17. 2 hungry.
Evie smiles and
18. 2 agrees.
They both took out
their chips,
19. 2 sandwiches and drinks
from their bags and
starts eating.
As they eat, we see
20. 2 them smiling and
 laughing as Cloud
shows
pictures on his phone.

Natalie then grabs
Cloud’s guitar and

requesting for Cloud
to play some music.

Cloud grabs the guitar

and starts playing. He
24. 2 plays emotionally. We
can see and feel each
strum of the guitar.
Cloud’s phone starts
ringing. He drops the
25. 2 guitar and stands
up.
Evie and Natalie look
at him as he walks
26. 2 away to answer the
call.
Natalie picks up her
27. 2 phone.
Evie then grabs the
guitar, pressing the
28. 2 hollow shell of the
guitar towards her
body.
Evie starts playing
the guitar feeling the
29. 2 vibration of each
note she plays.
Young Evie (10) is
sitting on the couch
30. 3 looking tired and
sad as she stares at
the floor.

31. SUNNY (15) approaches

her and asks.

32. Evie looks at her and

starts tearing.
33. Sunny sits down beside
Evie and holds her
hands to comfort
her.
34. Evie hugs her tight.

35. Sunny then grabs her

guitar and asks.

36. Evie nods.

37. Sunny smiles.

38. Evie grabs the guitar

and starts playing.

39. At the door, their mom

looks at them with a
smile on her
face.
40. 4 We see Evie’s (P.O.V)
looking at the door as
Sunny arrives
home from school.

41. The guitar sits beside

Evie as Sunny
approaches her.
42. Each day goes by and
the time Sunny comes
home becomes
longer and longer, but
she still arrives
nonetheless.
43. 5 Evie impatiently waits
for her sister to
arrive. She looks
at the clock that says
10:00pm.
44. Evie closes her eyes
to take a quick nap
but ends up falling
asleep entirely.
45. 6 Evie opens her eyes
and sees her mom
sitting beside her as
she rubs Evie’s arm.
46. Evie looks at her and
notices that her mom
has been crying.
47. Evie sits up and gives
her mom a worried
look, searching her
 eyes for answers.

48. We can read Evie’s

lips as she asks for
her sister’s name.
49. Evie’s Mom chokes up
and starts crying
again. We read her
lips as she says that.
50. We see a shocked and
tearful look in Evie’s
eyes. She’s
trembling and is
struggling to take the
news in.
