Augmented Reality Workshop – FAQ

1. What are the Perquisites?

a. You have basic coding skills.
b. You are really keen and hungry to learn upcoming technologies.

2. What will be covered? What will I learn?

Unity Game Engine, AR Foundation, Cross Platform AR Applications. Use cases of
Augmented and Virtual Reality in different industries. Create a working prototype.

4. Do I need to pay anything?

No. This is free.

6. What is the time commitment?

3-4 hours per week. We will do one class (of 1-1.5 hours) per week. Rest of the time
would be for practice and self-learning. We plan to do it in early morning or evening
but open to community suggestions as well. The program will run for 4-5 weeks

7. Who are you and why are you conducting this program?
We are from Kepler – an innovation center at Sapient India. We firmly believe that
true value for clients and society can be created by spreading the knowledge.

8. Who will be the facilitators?

All the facilitators are practicing AR/VR developers from Kepler.

9. Will I earn any certificate?

Yes. At the end of the course you would need to submit a project to earn the
certificate.

10. Will there be any PID?

No. Please also refer to 1b.

11. When is first session time and venue?

Tentative schedule for first session is 21st June, 2019 at around 9 A.M. to 11 A.M.

12. What is the duration of the course?

We will organize the course in 2 parts:
 Part 1 – 4-5 weeks – We will teach you Unity, AR Foundation and all
participants will make an Augmented Reality Project suggested by our Team
 Part 2 – Extended 2 weeks – Where individuals will bring their own ideas and
our team will help them build working prototypes for showcase in their team

13. What about people in Noida and Bengaluru?

As this is the 1st session, we will be doing in person sessions in Gurgaon only.
