“ Sweet & Sour Shrimp”

Ingredients:

1. 1 kg shrimp (binalatan)
2. Garlic (minced)
3. Onions (minced)
4. Salt & Pepper
5. Oil

Procedure:

1. Saute garlic & onions


2. Followed by shrimp, sauté & simmer until cooked. Add salt & pepper to taste.
3. Set aside

For the sauce:

Ingredients

1. Bell pepper green & red (strips)


2. Vinegar (2 cups)
3. Chili sauce small (1 bottle)
4. Sugar ¾ cups
5. Ginger
6. Salt
7. Corn Starch (2 tbsp)
8. Water (1/2 cup)
9. Ketchup (1 small bottle)
10. 10: Garlic & Onions

Procedure for the sauce:

1. Saute garlic, onions & ginger until cooked


2. Put chilli (labuyo) followed by ketchup & chilli sauce
3. Add water & simmer
4. Add bell pepper green & red followed by sugar & vinegar. Don’t stir until boiled
5. Put cornstarch mixed with little water to make the sauce sticky. Season with salt & pepper to
taste
6. Finally, put shrimp on serving plate & pour the sweet &sour sauce on top of it.
