Step by Step Installation Procedure

1 Open the Equipment Box and confirm that asset Tags for Radios are received

Open the Gateway Flap with help of small screw driver as guided in training
3 document, No excess force to be applied while opening the Gateway.
4 Stick the Asset tag of Gateway inside the flap and take the snap for AT doc. Yes
5 Take a snap of Gateway CPU Module with Sr No & MAC Address clearly visible. Yes
6 Write the Mobile No on back of the SIM Card as well on SIM cover.
Take a SIM Card snap with all details like IMSI no, SIM No, Mobile No and Site

Open the Gateway, connect a RJ45 straight cable to Gateway POE / LAN port and
8 other end to Data OUT port of AC PoE.
9 Power on AC PoE after connecting straight cable.
10 Extract Product.zip on laptop and copy the 4 files in a blank / Clean USB Pendrive.
11 Insert the SIM provided & Plug in USB pendrive on USB port of Gateway.

Carry out the installation process as per the installation guidelines & Once
12 Gateway in configured, make sure and confirm Gateway is Visible in NST server.

13 Install the DC SPD fixture & DC SPD.

14 Complete the cable connectivity of DC SPD and Gateway Power connector.
15 Take a clear snap of DC SPD cable connectivity. Yes
Activity at Site
17 After reaching to site take a clear snap of BS building and tower. Yes
18 Carry out Infra / EoHS survey as per TCL Survey Template. Yes
Take 360 degree clutter snaps and ensure there is no obstruction in 200 mts, share

Carry out RF Survey using AC PoE and take spectrum Scan & try to find out the
20 best position in consultation with TCL SPOC
21 Contact the TCL SPOC to check the Spectrum Scan feasibility
RF Spectrum scan will be finalized by TCL team then mark location on tower and

23 Once location is finalized proceed for final installation.
If incase the spectrum is not clear after all possible options, infrom TCL SPOC &

If site is approved for installation, Mark a location inside shelter for DCDB & Ask

TCL SPOC to arange the IP technecian for power taping at SMPS
26 Install MCBs & DC Isolator with fixture as per guideline inside DCDB box.
27 Complete the cable connectivity of MCBs and DC Isolator. Yes
28 Install the 8 Way DCDB (including MCB & DC isolator ) on the shetler wall Yes
29 Take a clear snap of DCDB cable connectivity. Yes
DCDB Earthing to IGB to be done with GI Cables and printed labling to be done at
30 both end
31 Complete SMPS to DCDB connectivity & stick printed labeling at both end. Yes
32 Take out Antenna from Box and take a clear snap of Sr No. Yes
33 Install Antenna on AMS pole with help of clamps privided Yes
Connect RF Jumper Cable to Antenna port and weather proof the port, route the
34 Jumper cable along the AMS with out any slag and secure with cable ties.
Install AMS clamp on tower at marked location and tigthen AMS clamps using 4
35 bolts.
36 Put Tilt meter and take a snap of "0" tilt of AMS. Yes
Install Cavity Filter to be installed above AMS and connect RF Jumper cables to

38 Route RF Jumper cable properly and take a snap. Yes
39 Fix the Gateway clamps to the Gateway
Insert DC Power Cable through glands in Gateway and connect it to DC SPD, take a

41 Connect the RF Surge protector to the RF port of the Gateway
42 Connect a 1 ft GI cable on the RF Surge earthing port Yes
Carry the gateway to the to pole / tower's deginated location and fix it to the
43 tower with clamps
44 Route RF Jumper from the RF Surge port to the Cavity filter port RF IN Yes
45 Connect the other end of the RF surge's Earthing cable to the Gateway Clamp
46 Lay GI Cable from Gateway clamps to the EGB of tower and take a clear snap. Yes
47 Weather proofing of all RF ports of Gateway & Cavity filter and take a snap. Yes
Keep a 2 Mt loop of power cable near by Gateway & near by DCDB, take a clear

snap of the same.
Secure the Power cable to the cable tray with cable ties at regular 1 meter
49 intervals
50 Take a clear snap of Inside and outside Power cable routing. Yes
51 Connect the power cable coming from the gateway to the DC Isolator
52 Connect the DCDB to the IP SMPS (Take the help of IP technecian)
Power on the MCB and Check Green light is visible on the DC Isolator and on the
53 Gateway
54 Take a screen shot of RF Spectrum Sweep. Yes
55 Switch on LoRa robot device for 10 min and take a screen shot of Stability test. Yes
56 Fill in the all infra & IP details along with I&C snaps in the TCL AT format.
57 Submit the AT to circle PM within 24 hrs of installation.
