Some countries do not have adequate recycling of waste materials. This essay
will first focus on the reasons of this situation and then suggest feasible
solutions.

There are two possible factors why some countries do not (sufficiently) recycle
sufficiently waste materials. First reason would be that people in that countries
are not aware of the importance of recycling. Because of this, people throw
used material indiscriminately on roads and in sea. These materials will not be
collected and recycled forever. Second possible reason (is the rat race lifestyle
of people especially in the city is that life in some contrives are hectic so
residents do not have much time to segregate. Generally sorting out used
resources takes long time. Thus, people may dump these things as burnable
waste (what does it mean?), even if they still can recycle.

The attainable solution to this would be to raise public awareness about

environmental issues. Environmental education should be designed in school
curriculum or organize environmental campaign through media sources. If
people know the crucial value of recycling and (know) how bad littering is (to
the) environment, naturally, people will change their everyday practice.
Another effective method is that the government ought to impose stick
(strict)punishment regarding waste segregation. If people do not separate
rubbishes properly, people should be fined. For instance, in some cities in
Japan, most of garbage disposal spots are observed by monitoring camera to
find the person who break rules so most people sort out garbage depending on
resources.

In conclusion, one of the factors contributing to inadequate recycling material

is that the public are not aware of environmental issues and frantic pace of life.
However, the solutions mentioned above are simple enough to start a change
in people’s awareness and hopefully to their attitude and behaviors towards
recycling.
