Cat latin name is felis catus they belong to a group of mammalian. They are
carnivore.It is vertebrate animal.It is viviparous and can birth 2-5 young in once
birth process. Talking about cat,it can be refers to tiger,lion,cheetah,and
leopard.

Cat is a cute and friendly animal.It has soft fur and various colors like
white,yellowish,dark black and black white spot.Cat have highly specialized
teeth for the killing of prey and the tearing meat. They can move each ear
independently of the other. They have retractable claws.They typically weight
between 4kg and 5kg.They average about 23-25 centimeters in height and 46
centimeters in head/body length.Usually cat males are large than female.Their
tail is average 30 centimeters in length.

The timing of cat activity is quite flexible.The daily duration of sleep varies,
usually 12-16 hours,with 13-14 being the average.Some cat can sleep as much as
20 hour in a 24 hours period.

Cat can live in forest,grassland,tundra,coastal areas, agricultural

land,scrublands,urban areas and wetlands.

Cat usually feed on meat,bone,birds,mouse and commercial cat food.

The gestation period for cat is between 64-67 days with an average length of
66 days.The size of a litter averages three to five kittens.Kittens are weaned at
between six and seven weeks.

Cat has a loyal enemy namely mouse.In TOM & JERRY film they never become a
friend.Mouse also can become its prey.In some countries cat is sacred animals.
