    wellspring of my tears, wellspring of tanah airmata, tanah tumpah dukaku


    sorrow mata air airmata kami
    wellspring of our tears well airmata tanah air kami
    spring of our land

    here now we stand di sinilah kami berdiri


    singing of our tears menyanyikan airmata kami

    in the fertility of your land Dibalik gembur subur tanahmu


    we secret our hurt kami simpan perih kami
    in the grand storefronts of your buildings di balik etalase megah gedunggedungmu
    we seek to hide our suffering kami coba sembunyikan derita kami

    we seek to secret our grief kami coba simpan nestapa


    to bury the pain and sorrow kami coba kuburkan dukalara
    but hurt can not be hidden tapi perih tak bisa sembunyi
    it spreads everywhere ia merebak ke manamana

    the world does not end at the limits of bumi memang tak sebatas pandang
    sight dan udara luas menunggu
    and a broad sky awaits namun kalian takkan bisa menyingkir
    that you can not avoid ke mana pun melangkah
    wherever you trend kalian pijak airmata kami
    you step on our tears ke mana pun terbang
    wherever you fly kalian kan hinggap di airmata kami
    you alight on our tears ke mana pun berlayar
    wherever you sail kalian arungi airmata kami
    you cross over our tears

    you have been surrounded kalian sudah terkepung


    and you can not get away, takkan bisa mengelak
    not ever, no matter where you go takkan bisa ke mana pergi
    you must surrender to the depth of our menyerahlah pada kedalaman airmata
