SUBJECT: Proposal for the MOWBA Study

Purpose
The purpose of our proposal is to request marketing and financial support with our consumer product
MOWBA. Also, to determine the best course of action for integrating the product into North Texans
Homes.

Summary
On June 7, 2019, Professor McGilbrey, Technical and Business Writing Instructor, asked us to
develop a proposal to create a product and execute a research project. Currently the automatic mower
is a small and new product on the market. Current options are limiting and overpriced. Many of these
products cannot operate on lawns larger than two acres, and are lacking user friendly options.

Introduction
The MOWBA will help you with your grass cutting needs. With the press of a button on your
MOWBAapp you can get started mowing your grass without lifting a finger.

Time and time again suburban homes are trying to keep up with their lawns. When it comes to
mowing your grass, we often don't know where to start. It takes skill and countless hours to make
your lawn neighborhood approved. Many lawn owners cringe at the site of a corner lot with acres of
grass to keep up with. Push mowers, gas, and electric options don't seem to do the trick and this
Texas heat, mowing your lawn can be dangerous and defeating until now. With the MOWBA you can
cut your grass and time it takes to do so.

Not only can this product be put into homes across north Texas, it can also be used for lawn service
providers. The MOWBA can cut time and costs for your lawn business needs. Now you will have a
product that can do the job of an employee without the extra hassle.
Proposed Tasks

TASK 1: Acquire a basic understanding of the top rated lawn mowers

TASK 2: Determine the downfalls MOWBA possess and improvement areas needed

TASK 3: Establish innovative features to enhance the lawn mower

Preliminary research done- We have done some research and there are few options for this idea
however, most are priced over $1,500 and are not user friendly. With our mower and app, you can
easily map out the mowers path and check its progress. Also, many of the mowers for sale are only
able to mow properties under 2 acres, until now. Our mower will take the stress out of yard work and
leave you with more time to do what you want. This invention will save not only time and energy, but
also money. Large companies pay for lawn mowing services. With our automatic mower, the one and
only cost would be towards owning your own automatic mower. Time, money, and energy are three
of the most important aspects in most people's lives.
