10 Situations 
where you should replace your hard hat

High temperature working


01 environment
If the user environment is known to expose to high temperature extremes,
hard hats should be replaced routinely after two years of use.

Direct sunlight exposure


02 If the user environment is known to expose to direct  sunlight, hard hats
should be replaced routinely after two years of use.

Chemical splash
03 If the user environment is known to expose to chemical splash, hard hats
should be replaced routinely after two years of use.

Serve more than 4 years before


04 reaching 5 years
As a general guideline, it is recommended to  replace all employees’ caps
every five years, regardless of the cap’s outward appearance.

05 Visible damage
When there is visible damage, the shell and suspension should be
replaced immediately.

Possible hidden damage


06 There is possible hidden damage under sticker or paint. When any such
damage found, the shell and suspension should be replaced immediately.

07 Painting on the shell


The shell and suspension should be replaced immediately, even if no damage is
visible.

Falling from a height of 2.5 meter


08 and above
Dropping a hard hat more than 2.5 meter warrants a replacement. 

Fading, chalky or brittle found on


09 the surface of the shell
The shell and suspension should be replaced immediately.

Struck by a forcible blow of any


10 magnitude
The shell and suspension should be replaced immediately, even if no damage is visible.

If you are in doubt about whether or not to replace your hard hat, replace it, because you should always be thinking,
