M4 and M5 Template (Resource Estimates)

Instructions: Follow the steps below to complete the table of resource estimates for the project.
Delete all red text in the template and insert your own text in black. See the example at the very
bottom of this page for a model of how to complete this template.

Steps

1. After the words Project Manager, list your name.

2. In the WBS Number column, list the WBS number.
3. In the WBS Element Name column, list the name of the WBS element using an active verb.
4. In the Duration column, list an estimate for how many calendar days it will take to complete
each element.
5. In the Effort column, list the number of staff days you will need to complete each element.
6. In the Non-Labor Budget column, list the non-labor budget you have allotted for each
element.
