Conditions as per UCL of ASME VIII Div.1:

1- Integral Cladding Material as per UCL-11.

2- And NDT
3- Apply Stress value Ratio between base metal and cladding material.

Then CA = 0mm

And take credit of cladding thickness as equivalent to Base Material considering Sc/Sb Ratio.

Allowable Stress Value Sb for A516 Gr 70 as per ASME 2 Part D


Allowable Stress Value Sc for A240 316L as per ASME 2 Part D

Credit Thickness= Cladding Thickness X Sc/Sb

3 X 115/138 = 2.5mm
