INSTALLATION

First off, please acknowledge that this pack is provided “as is”. I will – for the time being – not provide any
support or feedback platform. I used the Embraers as test-beds for some proof-of-concept work and decided to
flesh it out and share it.

Installation steps:

1. Unzip the contents of the downloaded file.

2. Delete (and backup if you wish) the entire folder called “fmod” inside your Embraer 175 (or 195 if you
are installing that pack) aircraft folder (the “fmod” folder that came with your aircraft).

3. Move the folder called “fmod” from the zip file into your aircraft folder.

If your aircraft was installed in “X-Plane / aircraft / Embraer 175” the correct folder location would be
“X-Plane / aircraft / Embraer 175 / fmod”

4. Move the folder called “xlua” into the “plugins” folder of your aircraft,e.g.
“X-Plane / aircraft / Embraer 175 / plugins / xlua”

Done.

To recap ;)

“fmod” -> move entire folder into your Embraer’s folder

“xlua” -> move entire folder into the “plugins” folder of your Embraer.

WARNING

Do NOT use this fmod folder with any other plane, especially not aircraft that are flown by the AI. It is ok
to use these sounds with the E175 and also have the AI fly the E175 (which doesn’t work anyway). But do NOT
use it e.g. with another aircraft that is flown by the AI (e.g. E195 for the AI while you fly the E175). All fmod files
have internal IDs and X-Plane will crash if you try to use sounds with the same IDs in two different
aircraft at the same time!
