The slower the velocity of the fluid is, the lesser is its corresponding Reynolds number.

The
characteristic of the flow shown for Reynolds number of ____________________________- was
slow, steady and falls in a straight line. It flows calmly according to the water flow. For Reynolds
number of ---------------------------------------------- the dye was observed to be straight but became
unsteady when it reached half of the water flow it was observed that the formation of curls in the
dye existed before the mixing with water becomes complete. For ryenolds number of
_________________________, the dye was observed to be unsteady and shaky all the time. This
indicates that the flow of water of rough and unsteady thus effect the flow of the dye.

The rocks inside the stilling tank and the overflow line functioned to control the flow of water in
the tank
