Activities undertaken:
1) Case study discussion:

Case study discussed on the below topics:

 AXIS Bank: Banking on Technology and Market Segments for Competitive Space
 ONGC’s Growth Strategy
 MarutiUdyog Ltd.: The Competition Ahead
 Manpower Australia: Using Strategy Maps and the Balanced Scorecard Effectively

The above case studies have been discussed among the students of Semester III, their
participation was very good and attentive in the class.

2) Industrial Visit

Industrial visit of MBA students in PARLE- G, Bhuj

As per the GTU academic schedule and to impart practical knowledge our college has
organized Industrial visit for all MBA students at Parle Products Ltd. Bhuj on 21st January,
2016. Around 36 students and 3 faculties have visited plant situated in Bhuj- Kutch. Plant
visit was of 4 hours which includes expert lecture from the Parle Products Ltd. in Plant, Visit
of Manufacturing process of Parle-G Biscuits.Students got practical knowledge about
manufacturing process, supply chain cycle, HR Policy and Financial system of the
organization. Lastly the visit was very knowledgeable and inspiring which clear the
Financial, HR and Marketing concepts practically.

3) Workshop

 Organized one day workshop on “Demonetization of currency- is impact and

advantages” for MBA students of Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering, by
Dr Deepak Tekwani On 26th October, 2016 at HGCE Auditorium, Vahelal,
Ahmedabad.

 Organized one day seminar on “ Entrepreneurship” for MBA students of Hasmukh

Goswami college of Engineering by Mr. Yash Shah (chief executive @ gridle) at
HGCE Auditorium, Vahelal, Ahmedabad.
4) Fresher’s Party:

Students of MBA semester 3 have organized fresher’s party for newly admitted students of
semester 1 of Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering.

Venue: Himalaya Mall, Ahmedabad

Date: 19th September, 2016.

5) Group Discussion:

Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering (MBA department) is frequently organizing

Group discussion among the students of Semester 1 & 3 for clearing latest concepts on the
external environment. The few topics which were discussed in the group discussion class are:

 Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2017

 Demonetization of Indian currency
 Impact of US elections of Indian IT sector
 Financial decisions on online retailers
 Cash v/s Non cash economic transactions
