Catwalk- A fashion term used in the modeling world meaning walking down
the ramp in a straight line with grace and confidence like a cat.
Catwalk Philippines has been conceptualized by the Designers Circle
Philippines, a group of dynamic and creative designers to discover new and
fresh faces in the fashion model arena.
Objective of Catwalk
1. To discover and train fresh male and female models.
2. To open opportunities for young aspiring male and female models.
3. To professionalize the fashion industry.
4. To create an awareness to DCP’s socio- civic projects.
Catwalk Contest Rules and Regulations
A) Qualifications
Male or Female
- 17 to 25 years old
- Single/ Married
- Must be 5’7 or taller
- With pleasing personality and of good moral character
- Of Filipino Ancestry
- Educational Attainment- At least Grade 11 or higher
B) Contest Rules
1) Screening Procedures

B) Final Screening
A board of judges composed of the following will conduct this event:
- DCP President
- Board Chairman
- Project Chairman
- Prominent personalities invited by the association
2) Seminars/ Workshop:
5) Pageant Night:
C) Judges will select the Catwalk male/ female top winners from the
finalists.
C) All top 5 winners are required to represent the ideal image of a true
DCP Catwalk model.
E) All contracts entered into by the DCP with the sponsors shall be
honored by the special awards winners for a period of one (1) year
only.
7) Others:
A) The contest organizers are not responsible for any untoward
incidents or accidents that might occur during the duration of the
competition.
B) The contest organizers reserve the right to cancel the show due to
force majeure or other unavoidable circumstances beyond their
control for an indefinite period of time.
E) All candidates must get clearance from the contest organizers with
regards to pictorials, publicity and other media exposures not related
to Catwalk within the duration of the competition.
F) The candidates are allowed one (1) chaperon- during the contest.
J) The organizers are not responsible for the board and lodging of the
candidates.
AGREEMENT
-and-
-WITNESSETH-
2. THAT, the FIRST PARTY is agreeable to render its services for the
purpose of the SECOND PARTY as mentioned above.
4. THAT, the FIRST PARTY, upon agreement with the SECOND PARTY will
be in charge of the show’s PRODUCTION, MARKETING AND STAGING
and subject to the contract are the following:

6.2.1 Posters will be provided by the FIRST PARTY
6.3 PROMOTIONS
6.3.1 FIRST PARTY will provide PRINT and RADIO promotion of
the show
6.4 PICTORIAL
6.4.1 Pictorial Venue
6.4.2 Props and equipment to be used
6.4.3 Photographers
7.
7.1 THAT, the FIRST PARTY will also provide the following for the
show
7.2 HOSTS of the show
7.3 PERFORMERS of the show
7.4 DANCERS of the show
7.5 PROFESSIONAL MODELS to be used
12.THAT, the SECOND PARTY cannot be held liable to any legal suit or
claims arising out of any actions committed or transactions entered
into by the FIRST PARTY. (vice versa)
14.THAT, in case of any legal suit that may arise due to non- compliance
by either party herein the venue thereof, shall be brought to the
proper courts of the City of Quezon, Philippines.
