Catwalk PH

Catwalk- A fashion term used in the modeling world meaning walking down
the ramp in a straight line with grace and confidence like a cat.
Catwalk Philippines has been conceptualized by the Designers Circle
Philippines, a group of dynamic and creative designers to discover new and
fresh faces in the fashion model arena.

Objective of Catwalk
1. To discover and train fresh male and female models.
2. To open opportunities for young aspiring male and female models.
3. To professionalize the fashion industry.
4. To create an awareness to DCP’s socio- civic projects.
Catwalk Contest Rules and Regulations

A) Qualifications
Male or Female
- 17 to 25 years old
- Single/ Married
- Must be 5’7 or taller
- With pleasing personality and of good moral character
- Of Filipino Ancestry
- Educational Attainment- At least Grade 11 or higher

B) Contest Rules
1) Screening Procedures

A) Initial Screening

There will be an initial screening to be conducted by DCP members.

B) Final Screening
A board of judges composed of the following will conduct this event:

- DCP President
- Board Chairman
- Project Chairman
- Prominent personalities invited by the association

C) DCP reserves the right to conduct additional screenings it may deem


necessary.

D) Candidates must be willing to wear prescribed screening attire


(swimwear/ casual wear) to be provided by the candidates.

E) The project chairman will notify all qualified candidates through


either text message or email. Failure to respond within seven (7) days
after receiving the notification will result to automatic
disqualification as a finalist.

F) All finalists are required to sign a written conforme/ agreement to


abide by all the scheduled activities.

G) All judges’ decisions are final and irrevocable.

2) Seminars/ Workshop:

A) A series of workshops will be conducted by the organizers for


modeling and personality enhancement
3) Press Conference:
Finalists will be presented officially to the members of the press.

4) Publicity and Pictorials:

All candidates will submit themselves to and undergo photo sessions/


seminars/ workshops/ and media exposures.

5) Pageant Night:

A) Prejudging- a panel of judges will conduct a one on one interview


with all the finalists a day before the pageant night.

B) Judges will pick the top five-(5) male/ female finalists.

C) Judges will select the Catwalk male/ female top winners from the
finalists.

D) Criteria for judging will be based on the following:

50%- Body Proportions


30%- Poise and Projection
20%- Stage Presence

100% Total

E) Board of Judges will be composed of the following:

- Chairman of the Board of Judges


- Panel of judges includes the current Chairman of the Board of DCP
and chosen individuals from various sectors related to fashion.

6) Duties and Obligations of Winners:

A) All prizes must be claimed depending on the agreed date the


organizers and the winners will agree upon.

B) Unclaimed prizes after 60 days will revert back to the organizers.

C) All top 5 winners are required to represent the ideal image of a true
DCP Catwalk model.

D) The 5 male/ female winners must at least render services to the


FDAP for a minimum fee in the Associations major show.

E) All contracts entered into by the DCP with the sponsors shall be
honored by the special awards winners for a period of one (1) year
only.

7) Others:
A) The contest organizers are not responsible for any untoward
incidents or accidents that might occur during the duration of the
competition.

B) The contest organizers reserve the right to cancel the show due to
force majeure or other unavoidable circumstances beyond their
control for an indefinite period of time.

C) The organizers have the right to disqualify the candidates due to


immoral or lascivious acts, attitude problems, tardiness and absences
committed during the regulations set upon by the contest organizers.

D) Talent managers of the candidates must strictly abide by the rules


and regulations set upon by the contest organizers.

E) All candidates must get clearance from the contest organizers with
regards to pictorials, publicity and other media exposures not related
to Catwalk within the duration of the competition.

F) The candidates are allowed one (1) chaperon- during the contest.

G) Candidates must observe proper decorum at all times.

H) The organizers must be notified in advance in cases of conflict of


schedules and other related matters.

I) All finalists are required to acknowledge Catwalk in all their media


exposures.

J) The organizers are not responsible for the board and lodging of the
candidates.
AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT, ENTERED INTO BY AND BETWEEN

AMT MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTION HAUZ CORP. –Mylene Acuna, of legal age,


Filipino citizen and with principal address at 155 La Breza Tower Mother
Ignacia Street, South Triangle Quezon City, herein after referred to as the
First Party.

-and-

DESIGNER CIRCLE PHILIPPINES, a non- stock, non- profit corporation


duly organized and existing under virtue of the laws of the Philippines with
principal office at 2757 Oroquieta St. Corner Pampanga St., Sta. Cruz,
Manila City herein after referred as the SECOND PARTY.

-WITNESSETH-

Now, therefore, the parties hereby bind themselves into an agreement


under the terms and conditions stipulated below today
__________________________, to wit:

1. THAT, the FIRST PARTY will handle the staging, conceptualizing,


producing, managing, and marketing the National Finals of Catwalk
Philippines 2018 on the 20th day of July.

2. THAT, the FIRST PARTY is agreeable to render its services for the
purpose of the SECOND PARTY as mentioned above.

3. THAT, The SECOND PARTY is charging the FIRST PARTY a FRANCHISEE


FEE in the amount of Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (P 500,000.00)
valid for 2 years in the Philippine Currency net of withholding taxes
to be paid under the following terms upon conformity of both
parties. The FIRST PARTY will be provided with invitations for the
finals night of the event:

*Five hundred thousand pesos (PhP500,000.00) divided into two (2)


equal installments of Two hundred fifty thousand pesos
(PhP250,000.00) the first of which that will apply for the 2018-2019
Competition shall be further broken down as follows:
**First 25% - to be paid upon conformity of both parties to this
contract or June 15, 2018, whichever comes earlier:
**2nd 25% - one month prior to event of June 20, 2018;
**20% - one week before the event of July 13, 2018;
**20% - on day of event or July 20, 2018;
**The remaining balance of 10% shall be completed after all post
event activities and reports have been accomplished.
***The second installment shall follow the above scheme for the
2019-2020 Competition.

4. THAT, the FIRST PARTY, upon agreement with the SECOND PARTY will
be in charge of the show’s PRODUCTION, MARKETING AND STAGING
and subject to the contract are the following:

4.2 VENUE

4.3 DIRECTORIAL services of the entire program

4.4 PRODUCTION STAFF composed of the following:


4.4.1 EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
4.4.2 PRODUCTION MANAGER
4.4.3 WRITERS
4.4.4 PRODUCTION ASSISTANTS
4.4.5 PRODUCTION DESIGNERS

4.5 CHOREOGRAPHY/ STAGE DIRECTION

4.6 TECHNICAL CREW composed of the following:


4.6.1 CAMERAMEN
4.6.2 SPINNER
4.6.3 ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
4.6.4 EDITOR

4.7 STAGE DESIGN

4.8 FOOD EXPENSES inclusive of the following:


4.8.1 Pre- production food
4.8.2 Set- up food expenses for production staff and technical
crew
4.8.3 Rehearsal food expenses for artists, production staff crew

4.9 VIDEO COVERAGE


4.9.1 PRE- PAGEANT ACTIVITIES
4.9.2

4.10 TECHNICAL FACILITIES


4.10.1 Lights and Sounds
4.10.2 Back Pack Camera
4.10.3 6 units of way radios

5. THAT, the SECOND PARTY will provide the following:


5.1 COSTUMES AND OUTFITS to be used by the contestants during
the contest night.

6. THAT, the FIRST PARTY will also shoulder the following:


6.1 TICKETS
6.1.1 FIRST PARTY will sell tickets only.
6.1.2 Ticket Printing will be provided by the FIRST PARTY.

6.2 POSTERS
6.2.1 Posters will be provided by the FIRST PARTY

6.3 PROMOTIONS
6.3.1 FIRST PARTY will provide PRINT and RADIO promotion of
the show

6.4 PICTORIAL
6.4.1 Pictorial Venue
6.4.2 Props and equipment to be used
6.4.3 Photographers

6.5 Video Coverage


6.6 PRIZES FOR WINNERS

6.7 HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS (if any)

6.8 PRESS CONFERENCE


6.8.1 Venue
6.8.2 Food

7.1 THAT, the FIRST PARTY will also provide the following for the
show
7.2 HOSTS of the show
7.3 PERFORMERS of the show
7.4 DANCERS of the show
7.5 PROFESSIONAL MODELS to be used

8. THAT, there will be 11 judges--- 6 judges will be provided by the


SECOND PARTY, while the FIRST PARTY will provide 5 judges. The
president of the DCP or his representative/ officer is automatically
designated as the Chairman of the Board of Judges.

9. THAT, the FIRST PARTY recognizes and acknowledges the existence of


DCP RULES AND REGULATIONS which are hereby adapted and made
integral part hereof as Annex “A” and hereby agrees and commits
itself to abide and follow staging, conceptualizing, producing,
managing, and marketing the Catwalk Philippines 2018 in

10.THAT, in the event of any cancellation due to FORCE MAJEURE, or
any cause whatsoever which is not the fault of the FIRST PARTY shall
not be liable for any claim of the SECOND PARTY, or VICE- VERSA.

11.THAT, the FIRST PARTY’S action or omissions in terms of production,


promotions, sponsorship solicitations and others are independent of
the SECOND PARTY and the FIRST PARTY hereby renders the SECOND
PARTY free and harmless from any and all actions or claims arising
therefrom.

12.THAT, the SECOND PARTY cannot be held liable to any legal suit or
claims arising out of any actions committed or transactions entered
into by the FIRST PARTY. (vice versa)

13.THAT, this franchise agreement is valid only for 2 years.

14.THAT, in case of any legal suit that may arise due to non- compliance
by either party herein the venue thereof, shall be brought to the
proper courts of the City of Quezon, Philippines.
