The cha-cha is comprised of very small steps, because of its
rhythm. The dance is counted in 4/4 time, which means that there are four beats to a measure. While dancing the cha-cha, performers are expected to turn while keeping the tempo, slow-slow-quick-quick- slow. Group 1 performed well the four basic steps even though they only watched the video couple of times, practiced in a short time and performed after. While they are dancing some of them really didn’t familiarize the steps but still they performed it successfully. GROUP 2- SALSA
There are few basic steps of Salsa, the most common
is three weight changes (or steps) in each four beat measure. Group 2 really execute the steps they are sometimes hand in hand. But sometimes not. In their performance we can say that they are fast learner that can make a given task in just a few minutes. GROUP 3- JIVE
Jive is one of the five international Latin dances. This
dance has the basic step comprising weight changes. Group 3 also performed it successfully they demonstrate the first four basic steps. In order to look it better they made their arrangement in line . The basic look and feel of jive are that it is performed with lots of energy. Jive is a very happy, boppy, energetic dance, with plenty of knee-lifting, bending, and rocking of the hips. The fastest of the Latin dances, jive incorporates lots of kicks and flicks, even twirling of the woman, and doesn't move around the dance floor like other dances.
