HOW I SEE MYSELF AFTER FINISHING MY MEDICAL

TECHNOLOGY DEGREE

As of now, I’m not settled yet as to what specialization I’ll take or whether
I’ll proceed to study medicine after graduation. I also consider the financial
capability of my parents in case I’ll study medicine. But, If I would be given the
opportunity, then I’ll do everything to not waste the sacrifices of my parents.

Personally, I just want to work inside the laboratory. However, I also consider
the fact that my interests would change as I go along with the process. Upon
graduating, I’ll prepare myself and review for the licensure examination first. Soon
after, if I passed the exam and got my license as a Registered Medical Technologist,
then I’ll apply for a job here in the Philippines. Probably, I’ll be working for 2 to 3
years here in the Philippines for an experience. After that, I might take the exam
and work abroad in God’s will.

Being a Medical Technologist plays important roles that one needs to

portray. These include being able to perform professional work in laboratory tests
with accurate and reliable results and ensuring a patient’s information as strictly
confidential.
