1. Tell me about yourself

 I believe you already read my resume so I’ll just tell you the things about me
that is not written in it.
 I am a passionate medical technologist and love every aspect of my work, and I
am excellent at what I do. I have worked as a medical technologist for over 5
years now.
 I am good at problem solving, critical thinking and gives attention to detail since
small differences can be crucial to a diagnosis; which are the things you are
looking for an applicant.
 I am also knowledgeable in not just in sterile technique (e.g. microbial cultures,
tissue culture, PCR) but I have expertise in DNA / RNA extraction or Molecular
Microbiology.
 I also have a complete understanding of chemistry, immunology and biology and
I have a degree in life science

2. why do you believe we should hire you?

 You should hire me because I guarantee that I am the best fit in your company
because. First of all
 I have an extensive knowledge of the equipment used in laboratories and over
five years of experience in conducting numerous lab tests to help to determine
the health of the patients.
 All in all, I know that I can be a valuable member of your team.
 The type of care I give for patients are to perform phlebotomy, blood pressure,
oximetry and height and weight checks, and I am prepared to learn additional
medical skills in my next position.”

3. Why did you choose to become a medical laboratory technician?

 Being a Medtech you are able to see things that is not visible to the naked eye.
And for me its very fascinating
 Plus I want to become a doctor and I heard that the program is one of the best
premed course there is. this course is a good preparation for Medicine.
 For the love of being in service to mankind.

4. what do you consider to be your best strength?

 I am detail-oriented and I am able to produce an accurate result due to my high
methodical ability, I am also excellent in organizational skills and I have the
ability to communicate well when communicating to superiors, patients, peers
and also in writing reports.

5. what do you consider to be your weakness?

  My greatest weakness is my inability to stop work even when I know that my
shift is over.

6. what do you see yourself in 5 years?

 I see myself working at your company managing more responsibility in a higher
position possible. Actually, I wish by then I’ll be working as a senior or lead
medical technologist in your company.

7. what have you done to improve your knowledge for a medical laboratory technician
position?
 I gain and Improve my experience through my entire 5 year working experience
upon conducting numerous lab tests and through working with my superiors.
 You get to learn more as you continue to practice the profession and participate
in different conventions and seminars.

8. what knowledge do you have about the company?

 Your company or should I say the Safeguard DNA Diagnostic Inc. is a Philippine
Joint Venture company with an equal partnership with Safeguard Biosystems,
formed to provide a Molecular Microbiology diagnostic laboratory delivering
rapid detection and identification to primarily infectious disease and COVID-19
for the Philippine healthcare.

9. Can you tell me about a specific difficult work situation and how did you overcome it?
 I experience having a patient who is refusing to cooperate for a necessary
medical test and procedure. But I handle it properly by repeating to the
patient’s the concern and by explaining to her the procedure or test in a new
way that will makes sense.”
 I overcome it by keeping myself calm and focus on multi-tasking while being
patient.

10. what are your salary expectations?

 Your Job posting has no declared salary. However, As I have a 5-year experience
in clinical field I expect to earn at least 25k-30k for starters.
