    select * from performance_schema.

    persisted_variables;

    When you start the server during a roling upgrade sometimes you don’t want it to join the cluster
    automatically.

    So set this to off:


    loose-group_replication_start_on_boot = OFF

    Change it back to on when you want it to join the cluster. When you want to add it or rejoin.
