    PREFACE

    COMPOSITE SCHEDULE OF RATES 2018

    The Government of Balochistan deeply felt the need to update the Composite Schedule of Rates (CSR)
    1998 since quite some time, in order to bring it in harmony with the latest engineering developments, trends
    and practices, the current market rates, etc., besides, imminent boost in the construction industry on
    account of CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor). Consequently, the services of National Engineering
    Services Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited (NESPAK) were hired in October 2016, by the Government of Balochistan
    for this onerous assignment, being the largest consulting firm in the country and having rich experience in
    the field.
