THE NEW ROLE OF HR IN BUILDING AN AGILE
AND COMPETITIVE ORGANIZATION
27th & 28th May, 2019 – Delhi | 30th & 31st May, 2019 - Mumbai

PROGRAM BACKGROUND
As the world becomes increasingly volatile and unpredictable, organizations that are agile are better positioned
to easily and quickly adapt to changing business conditions and outpace competition. Agility constitutes a
powerful competitive weapon. Being agile is no longer an option - it s an organizational necessity.

In today s VUCA world, HR can be a true agent of change and a powerful driver of agility. The process of building
agility in the organization creates a new role as well as new set of responsibilities for Human Resource
Professionals. The new multiple role model defines Strategic Partner, Administrative Expert, Employee Champion
and Change Agent as four key roles for HR.

The Human Resource Professionals who understand and play these roles effectively help build agile and
competitive organizations. Simply put, today s organizations cannot afford to have an HR function that fails to
adapt to change, improve agility and contribute to enhanced profitability of the organization. In an agile
organization, Human Resource is no longer just about operations and people management. It s a strategic unit
that delivers business value on a consistent basis. The change and agility begin with the HR Professionals

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The key objective of the program is to help Human Resource Professionals to understand the new role of HR in the
context of VUCA world and acquire the tools and basic skills necessary to build an agile and competitive
organization. The program also helps HR professionals to gain deeper insights into the following profound
questions:
— What is an agile and what are the principles and conditions for it
— Why the agile mind set is HR s responsibility
— What is the role of HR as an enabler of agile organization
— How do HR Professionals master the new role
— What are the fundamental changes needed in the Human Resource function
— How to change the traditional HR processes when we are working with agile values
— How can HR create value and deliver results consistently in an agile organization
