Rules for Treasure Hunt

1. The team will consist of 5 members each.


2. Preliminary Round
a) In this round, the teams will be given a list consisting of 25 clues along with a carry bag.
b) Each team will be given half an hour to solve the clues and collect the items which they
will be pointing to.

NOTE: The teams can collect the materials from anywhere; in an intact form. Damaged
items will be discarded.

c) After the preliminary round, teams will be shortlisted on the basis of highest items
collected. The number of teams to be shortlisted will depend upon the total registrations
done.
3. Second Round*
a) This will be an elimination round in which final 5 teams will be shortlisted based on
paper dance competition amongst the teams shortlisted in the preliminary round.

*This round is subjected to the number of registrations. Higher number of registrations


will invite this round to happen.

4. Final Round

a) In this round the final 5 shortlisted teams will be given one clue each, solving which
will lead them to the next clue and so on. The initial clues will be kept in a bowl and the
leader of each team will be given only one chance to pick up an initial clue.

b) For each team the initial clues will be different but the final clues of all the teams will
lead them to the same destination.

c) First team to reach the final destination will be considered the winner.
Disqualification will result from any of the following:

1. Damaging any property.


2. Interfering with other teams or their members in any way.
3. Copying from other teams.
4. Stealing items from other teams.
5. Tempering other team’s clue if found by any chance.

NOTE:

1. Do not search for clues in off-limit areas.


2. Place the object back after searching or getting the clue.

Rules for Technical Quiz


1. The maximum intake of the students will be 50.
2. 45 MCQ will be given to the students with four options which the students will have to do
within a timeframe of 30 minutes.
3. Questions will be from basic civil engineering.
4. For every correct answer 1 mark will be awarded and for every wrong answer ½ marks will
be deducted.
5. Top 3 students will then be chosen on the basis of marks secured.

NOTE:
 In case of a tie between two students, one more quiz will be taken. The quiz will
consist of 20 questions which the students will have to do within a timeframe of 10
minutes. In this test too, rule no. 4 will be applicable.
 Mobile phones will not be allowed in the room where event will take place.

Disqualification will result from any of the following:

 Students found with and using mobile phones will be disqualified.


 Cheating from other candidate’s answer sheet will result in disqualification.
 Misbehavior with the invigilator or any other student in the place of conduction of
test.

Rules for Matki Mania Event

1. Each team will consist of 2 students.


2. One member of the team will remain outside while the other will stay inside the circle.
3. There will be a circle of diameter 5 meters in which hurdles will be placed. At one end of the
circle matkis will be kept on poles.
4. The student inside the circle will be blind folded and will have to cross these hurdles to reach
the matki by listening to the voice of the member standing outside the circle.
5. The time limit for the completion of the task will be 3 minutes.
6. The student will only have 2 attempts to hit the matki.
7. Whichever team takes minimum time to complete the task will be the winner.

Disqualification will result from any of the following:

1. Student found touching and tempering the blindfold.


2. If the student steps out of the circle during the event.

Rules for Bridge Making Event


1. Total intake of the teams will be 20 with each team consisting of 5 members.
2. 500 ice-cream stick and 200 gm adhesive will be given to each team with the help of which
the teams will have to make an arch bridge.
3. The arch bridge thus constructed will be tested for loads.
4. The arch bridge with highest load carrying capacity will be the winner.

5. Dimensions of the bridge will be given at the time of the event.

Disqualification will result from any of the following:

1. Student found using materials other than what is provided.


2. Student found stealing materials from other teams.
Rules for Tower Making Event

6. Total intake of the teams will be 20 with each team consisting of 5 members.
7. 15-20 bamboo sticks and 200 gm of adhesives will be given to the students with the help of
which the teams will have to make a tower.
8. The team with tallest tower will be the winner.

9. Dimensions of the tower will be given at the time of the event.
