Purpose
This configuration guide describes configurations needed for the consignment process and the
usability of configuration done in each process.
2. Preparation
2.1 Configuration of document type
1. Access the activity using the following navigation options:
SAP IMG menu IMG > Material Management > Purchasing >
Purchase requisition > Define document types.
2. From document types purchase Order change, you can create new document types either by
using copy as function or choosing new entries function.
Choose standard document type “NB” and then click on copy as option.
3. In the next screen, update the following details.
4. Click on “copy all” option to copy the entries from old document type NB to new document
type ZSK
5. Now you get a message as “Number of dependent entries copied”
6. Now select the document type “ZSK” and double click on “allowed item categories” which is
under document types.
7. Now choose the required item categories and delete other unwanted item categories.
After you choose item for delete, click on delete option and choose all entries option.
8. Choose item category and double click on link purchase requisition – document type.
Now link the purchase requisition to document type with required details and save the
configure data.
3. Utilization of configuration
In Purchase order document for consignment procurement, select the document type as
Consignment and account assignment category as Consignment –K
