values are for the year 2005, relative to the pre-industrial era (1750).[103] The contribution of solar irradiance to
radiative forcing is 5% the value of the combined radiative forcing due to increases in the atmospheric
concentrations of carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide.[104]
