distract from the message?
Avoid unnecessary
words: Was the speaker
concise? Were there any
“uhs” or “ums” ?
Speak clearly: Was it easy
to understand what the
speaker was saying? Did he
or she speak too quickly or
mumble?
Vary your pace and tone:
Did the speaker sound like a
robot or was there a lot of
expressions in his or her
voice?
