CHAPTER 3

RESEARCH METHADOLOGY

This chapter presented the data collected from the respondents of the study. This

chapter also present the result of the survey. The findings of the survey questioners

were presented below.

According to the graph, the number of students who suffer their personal problem

are 80%, while 20% of the students are not suffer from their personal problem. It

showed that number of students who are more suffer for their personal problem

while taking exam.

After identifying the number of students that suffer from their personal

problem while taking exam the survey that has been conducted, the researchers

gathered the data of the results of the test in Mathematics. The Frequency

Distribution Table for Grouped Data

Range = Highest Value - Lowest Value = 15 - 5

Class Limits Tally Frequency Less Cumulative

Frequency

14-15 IIIII-IIIII-IIIII-IIIII-IIIII- 37 48

IIIII-IIIII-II

12-13 III 3 11

10-11 II 2 8

8-9 III 3 6

6-7 0 3

5-4 III 3 3

In accomplishing this Frequency Distribution Table, the researchers first find the

class interval they must gather there all classes score then they tally it in the table.

In this discussion 37 students who took a summative test in math. Using the quartile

of grouped data they can easily find the students who passed out and failed to exam

by analyzing the given scores. In this case they need to use a to get a range. After

the range compute the class interval.

Range = Highest Value - Lowest Value

Q75 = 14.85

… 75% of the class scores is less than or equal to 14.85.
