My website will demonstrate a learning tools that will help students have better recall of math facts, mainly
multiplication. It worked for my own daughter and has proven research that promises to make kids fluent in
multiplication in a short time if used consistently each day.

(All pages need heading- title- introduction, diff fonts, pics, a live link on the homepage)

I wanted to choose a website that was easy for me. I researched Wix and Weebly. I read that Weebly was a
limited version of Wix, and Wix has more flexibility but, I’m using Weebly because I got confused and started it
first, so I kept going.

1. Sign up at www.weebly.com

2. Weebly has me chose a URL for my website. I chose https://teach-fun-inclass.weebly.com

3. Time to design the website. There are several types of websites to choose from and create. I chose E-
PORTFOLIO style. Now it’s time to EDIT.

I researched e-portfolios and saw that people had 4 pages. And on each page was different topics about
themselves. They had an image of themselves and may or may not have additional information and
images below on each page.

4. At the top of my website there are tabs – Build, Pages, Theme, Apps, Settings, and Help. I used the first 3
tabs mostly. Build is used to drag and drop things onto your pages. Pages lets you name and head the
page. Theme as a lot of features for background, fonts, color, etc. I am just learning this website so I will
explore to see what I need.

5. We are required to have 4 pages. I clicked the PAGE tab. On the left column there appeared the word
PAGES and a plus + sign. Click the plus. This allowed me to make a home page and 3 more pages.
6. The first page, which is the HOME PAGE, I put the title “A Great Learning Resource for Math” as the
Main title of my website by dragging the left T Title button to the page. It gave me a box and I typed “A
Great Learning Resource for Math” as the title. It appeared at the top of the page. I also had to type it
into the left column that had HOME under PAGE NAME. I chose to display this on each page by making
sure Hide in Navigation that appeared under the PAGE NAME is not checked.

7. Theme (top tab) I chose a primary and accent color. The change theme button is where I chose Portfolio
already. The Change Fonts button allowed me to display different fonts as required for this task.
8. My background on top section was white, so I clicked on the section to change it. Two buttons appeared
on the page, Edit Background and Replace Header Layout. I chose Edit and it allowed me to upload a
background from my computer or from the web. I ended up just changing the color.

9. You will have to save the images on your computer so they can be uploaded on your page.

10. I put a short text on each page explaining what will appear when I’m finished.
