Bond Sheet

A _____________ Bond with _______________ until used or next rest.

 Bond Strength Teammate
Step One: Use one of these Bond Actions:
Simultaneous attack: One character READIES an action to attack the same target as their
teammate does. Roll the Bond dice; the result is added to both assailants attack and
damage rolls. Ranged attacks also apply.

Teamwork: One character HELPS the other with a skill check. Roll the Bond dice; add this
number to the skill check that has ADV.

Got your back: As a REACTION to their partner being attacked, a player may MOVE 15
feet towards the player and attempt to block the attack. Roll the Bond dice; subtract the
result from the damage, the rest of the damage goes to the blocking character. If there is
leftover, this damage is reflected back onto the enemy.

Encourage/Banter: When one character has no/low fighting spirit, the other character in the
bond can use a BONUS ACTION to banter/say some inspiring words to give the other
person fighting spirit equal to the result of rolled bond dice.

Get the @&*# up: When a character drops below zero HP, calculate what their HP would
be in the negative. If the body is not irreparably destroyed the other character in the bond
can take the DASH action as a BONUS ACTION on their turn and try to get adjacent to their
teammate. When adjacent they can take an ACTION to roll their Bond Dice. If the result of
the bond dice is enough to raise their HP above 0, they do not die immediately.

Step Two: After using a Bond Action, add the result of the Bond Dice
rolled in combat to the Bond Strength Points. DM takes Bond sheet.

Notes for the DM

1. During a rest, ask characters if they want to spend time with another character in the party
and create a bond.
2. Characters say who they spend time with and what they do. They may get into it and act
it out and add interesting details or they may not. Every table is different.
3. Hand both characters involved in the activity a Bond Sheet. If it is their first time to bond,
they fill out the strength of the bond and who it is with. If they have bonded with them before
they compare their Current Bond Points with the Bond Strength Chart and use the
designated dice for the bond.
4. Characters can use one of the special Bond Actions in combat. If a Bond Action is used,
add the result of the bond die to Bond Strength Points. (Note: When adding Bond points
from a simultaneous attack, add both players rolls together and divide by two.)
5. DM takes back the bond sheet until players make the bond again. The players cannot
take another bond action until they renew the bond during a rest. If a Bond Action is not
taken, the bond sheet is taken from them at the beginning of the next rest and the bond does
not progress. Make sure players know that bonds do not strengthen unless Combat Actions
are used. Bond Points do not disappear or decrease, they only grow or stay level over time.
6. When the players have enough points the bond upgraded to higher strengths according to
the chart.
