Q1.(a)The aunt decided to send the other three children
to Jagborough as she wanted to punish Nicholas for his
disgraceful behavior at the breakfast table when he had
brought a frog and put it in his bread and milk.
It was her habit that whenever she had to punish any of
the children, she would invent a trip for the rest of them.
She wanted Nicholas to realize his mistake.

aunt used to organise picnics or something of a festival
nature in which the offender was not allowed to
participate. Thus the offender was made to feel sorry for
