INVESTIGATORY PROJECT PROPOSAL

Gavin Broderick S. Bulawan

Gr. 5 – Pope Francis
Teacher: Fritzie Rapadas

PROBLEM:

Can eggshells be an alternative ingredient for making chalk?

HYPOTHESIS 1:

The eggshells may be an alternative material to make chalk because

it has calcium carbonate like what most chalks need.

HYPOTHESIS 2:

If chalks can be made out of eggshells, then this study could help
students and teachers find cheaper and easy-to-do chalks and save money
in the long run.

HYPOTHESIS 3:

This study also could help lessen wastage of eggshells and help
prevent pollution by recycling the eggshells and making them into chalks.
