Tell me about yourself

My name is Piyush Singh, I belong to Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Being born and brought up in
Shaktinagar, a place at UP-MP border. I did my schooling from St. Joseph’s School,
Shaktinagar. I secured 60% in Class 10th Standard and 75% in Class 12th Standard. I did
participate in various Olympiads Examination, Science Exhibitions and I was very active in
Sports during my schooling. As I was active with computers activities and had quite good
knowledge about computer. I decided to pursue it further and came to Jaipur to do my
graduation in Computer Science. Currently I’m pursuing bachelor of Technology from Arya
Institute of Engineering & Technology in Computer Science Discipline. My Aggregate Till 6th
Sem is 75%. I did a course on Java From C-DAC and worked on Project “Data Management”.
I have also attended a workshop on android conducted by IIT Kanpur. I also participated in
Hackathon “DigiFest” conducted Rajasthan Government. I have co ordinated various intra
college activities like Badminton tournament, I also represented computer science team in an
exhibition conducted by our college. I have also an active member of the event management
group of the college. Recently I did training on Web Application Development from
Talent4Assure Assessment private limited based in Delhi. During my Training I have worked
on two projects “Make my Restro” and “Hospital management” .During my training I have got
a quite good hands on practice on HTML,CSS,BOOTSTRAP,JAVA SCRIPT ,STRUTS
,SPRING with HIBERNATE and JAVA .I did this full training in a course of 2 months instead
of a usual 6 months course so this was a quite good achievement for me.Apart from my
Technical skills I m good in grabbing and learning. Talking about my hobbies, I love to play
sports particularly badminton as its makes me very active physically and mentally. I also
occasionally sketch and listen to music. I love to read technical magazine like “Digit”. These
magazines I have been reading since my school days.
Carrier Objectives

As a fresher, I want to use my creative skills, technical knowledge that I am familiar with,
innovative thoughts that will benefit the Organization in the long run and also help me in
building my professional career where I can utilize my skills and abilities that offers
professional growth while being resourceful, innovative and flexible, and helpful to others. My
skills will lead to not only my development, but rather overall development of organization by
using my potential in designing new software and technology with latest requirement and
advancements in the field of technology as per my knowledge.

I can adapt to the working environment and deliver my expertise, while maintaining the
integrity, work ethics and creative mind towards the area of specialization. I would like to
involve in various tasks of computing like designing, programming related to software and also
tasks with respect to hardware.

I have taken part in challenging and critical projects and I think I have the ability to work on a
broad range of technologies in diversified critical project areas. I possess good communication
and writing skills to present my points precisely and clearly. I am also open minded and have
good interaction abilities to move in a team and get the work done efficiently.

I have good technical skills and communication skill. I am motivated and enthusiastic by new
challenges and tasks and take excellent approach to achieve success in all projects. I like to
work in a complex projects which have scope for learning and challenge. I have experience in
working with different operating system and platforms namely Windows, Linux and Dos.
Ten Professional qualities

I think there are many things to learn as I am a naive person also a fresher and have yet not
properly been a part of any organization but still the following qualities best describe how
much I am appropriate for any professional work.

1. Dedication towards anything I take up:

Recently I was selected in a Hackathon “Rajasthan Digi Fest” held at Udaipur. My
team had a prototype to prepare in just mere 24 hours. We worked great as a team. I
stayed late at night in order to make my prototype work. It was at a very great level, the
competition still I didn’t give up though I didn’t knew many things there.

2. Never giving up attitude:

I don’t like to quit things in between even though I don’t know it I try my best to sort
things out and try till the end. In the above experience of mine I didn’t know android
properly but I tried working on it. Due to this experience I got to learn many things
about my personality. I tried hard to make our project work till the last even after
returning I tried looking into the things which were not clear at that time.

3. Flexible and open to new technologies and challenges:

It fascinates me how things work on the basis of new technologies and how logically
amazing they are.

4. Honesty towards my work and my team:

I think honestly is the ultimate base of anything. If you are not honest to yourself it
may lead you to negative thing like overconfident, superiority complex which is not
good. And if you are not honest towards other you can’t work together. Also if we are
not honest towards our work we won’t get enough opportunity to grow.

I grab things quickly. I like to have depth knowledge on anything I work.

I have participated in competition as a team also as an individual and have worked
with great zeal.

how we can work more productively. Also try to make them comfortable my
interacting with them amicably.

One should be loyal towards its organization as a good human with ethics.
Strength and Weakness

My dedication towards my work and whatever I take up and my attitude to make it a success
along with the process to learning and grabbing many things not only technically but also work
ethics and personality traits in which I need improvement is my strength.

I participated in a Badminton tournament and I failed once since then I improved myself and
quality of my game. I try to work to include precision in my work. Till the quality of my work
is not good it does not give me a happy feeling though the work would have been success.

Recent example through which I got to know this trait in my personality was “Rajasthan
Digifest”, a Hackathon event where I went as a team with my other 4 friends. I knew my
dedication level but with this experience I got to know many things I can do when I want to
make my work a success. I stayed late at night try to fix bugs in my prototype model, an
Android application. One of my teammates knew basics of android and he worked accordingly
and created the database structure and as a team we were working progressively. One issue was
faced by us and our project was not working, I tried making the model work till the last minute
and was not ready somewhere to give up.

During the process of bug fixing I learned basics of Android and created few things there which
was good. I got to know how a team is involved and work when a technical work had to be
done. Also, I got to know about my weakness.

My weakness what I feel is I usually strive for preciseness in my work and in the process
usually it takes me a little bit more time to acquire the result. So, as I try to with perfectness
when it comes to delivery of any product by me it takes me little more time. Managing time is
very important, while I can work on multiple task with a good productive quality it would take
me more time to achieve it but the product at last would be good for sure. Prioritizing what is
needed when is what I am working on as my weakness.
Professional Education

• I am also Java Certified by TALENT4ASSURE ASSESSMENT PVT. LTD. in July

2018 when I completed the 8 weeks training under TALENT4ASSURE
ASSESSMENT PVT. LTD. Training.
• I have also studied C and C++ as a part of my engineering and I scored enough marks
to justify my knowledge.
• I have also studied SQL as a part of the training as well as in the college duration as a
separate subject.
• I have also undertaken the training under SCOUT group in 2018 which enhanced my
non-technical as well as technical qualities like English aptitude and much more.

I have completed my training from TALENT4ASSURE ASSESSMENT Pvt. Ltd. In the
technology of JAVA.

Project I – Food ordering online application

Description – It is a web application through which people can order food online. They can
search out for the food or restaurant they like in particular and can order it sitting from
anywhere, paying for it online or in cash. It provides a user friendly environment to consumers
where they can search their favorite or nearby restaurant. This kind of application is very
useful as most of the local Restaurant doesn’t have their own websites or application from
which the customers can order food online. The restaurant head in particular can login into
their portal to view the order and can confirm as per the availability and convenience.

Project II – Hospital Management

Description – It is also a web application in which the Doctors can login to into the portal
through their Username and Password. Inside the Portal the doctor can see the details of the
patient who has taken appointment with him/her. If the patients already was seeing that
particular doctor, the doctor will be able to see the past treatment the patient has been
receiving and all the details related to his disease. And similar he can keep track of the new
patient’s treatment and also the appointment for him for the next time. Having different
section like today’s appointment and Emergency would serve useful for the hospital
management for sure.
Short Term and Long Term

Firstly, my Short-Term goal is to get into an organization to scale my skills and knowledge to
up to a professional level, to learn new things that one should know and experience in order to
groom himself overall. As I am a knee learner, dedicated towards whatever task I take up and
new technologies attracts me, I would like to explore as many technologies as I could. Being
an asset to the organization and being productive to the industry is my main concern. I would
like to work on new technologies and add more to my knowledge as this act as a source and
motivates me to experiment on things and learn the till depth. I want to bring glory to whichever
company I serve and want to use its platform to groom my skills and knowledge as well. As I
aim continuous growth of myself intellectually and as well as skills are concern I would like to
work on multiple platforms and technology. Also, I would like to take up new challenges as
that would boost my learning.

Secondly my Long Term is to innovate a new productive application which would be very
productive and would help the masses. I want to be acquire a high post in an elite organization
whose work ethics and environment will be great to work in. And would create a different
prospective for youth to work efficiently. I want to pursue high technical knowledge in my
interest area like computer programming and application building.
Hobbies and Favorite Pass Time

Usually I get involved in sports activities as it destresses and relaxes my mind. I try to make
sure that I play badminton which I love the most among all sports activity in evening which
relaxes my mind and I feel great after that. I like reading technical blogs and magazines
whenever I feel I am free or doesn’t have any important work to do. I see “How it is made” on
YouTube channel which a great mind booster. I like to play video games too but very
occasionally. Most of the time I find myself reading technical blogs only. “Digit” a technical
magazine and a website, is my favorite it is really a great source of how and what new
technologies and product are working in the market also what product suits which category?

I also love music. Usually I listen to songs and do my work. I have learned how to play
Keyboard too in my school days and want to learn more musical instruments too. Listening to
music bring sweetness in once life I feel, it gives mind a good feeling and then one can start
fresh with any work and would really work with good energy I feel.
Why should we hire you?

Quick Learner and the strive to grow continuously and add skills to my personality keeping in
view to give good results by these qualities and utilizing them to best I can and give a new
innovative path to things is what is unique in me. I like experimenting with things which
already I know so that I could explore anything in depth that’s my ideology. As the technologies
and advancing and growing very fast in the world being a quick learner is necessary but the
knowledge should be in depth and even if you don’t have depth knowledge one should never
take thing lightly. Thinking innovatively and productive is the need for the hour.

I have found that if I take anything with a perspective of learning and knowing what it does I
really grab up things very quickly. Especially when I know it is needed to know any specific
technology and what all I can do with it, it give me a zeal to learn it full dedication and
efficiently. The quality of work this results in is really great and give me a good feeling when
I learn a new thing with very ease. I always make a point to implement my knowledge to
practical. I always try how I can use different skills to perform any task. I like integrating
different technologies and see if it is feasible or not.
