Is there really a need for rules and regulations? It is the question that keeps bothering
everyone’s mind. In the sphere of life, we have guidelines to follow. It can easily be obeyed and break at
the same time but this concept is much more complicated that it may seem in the first glance. Would
having no sets of rules give us a concept of freedom or would it just lead to a worldwide fight and
misunderstanding?

Rules refer to a set of guidelines. This have been place in different places and were accepted by
all. Thus, this rules and regulations have lots of importance and benefit not just for a single individual
but for everyone in this world.

Rules help people in many aspects of life. A well developed system of rules helps humanity to
avoid chaos and problems that may be caused by lack of regulations. It may happen that complicated
situation may arise and lead to seroius dilemma but rules help to lighten the tension and find immediate
solution.
We need this guidelines because it dictates and guide a person on what is right and what is
wrong. This rules guarantee our peace and security. Also, it allow us to avoid misunderstandng with one
another. People settled on following specific list of guidelines which allow them to think clearer, decide
better and maintain good relationship with other people. Imagine those traffic rules, about the right
speed limit and those local community rules saying “tapat mo linis mo”.

On the other side, we admit that people may do anything on his/her power. But their actions
may bring harm to others. Sometimes the interest of an individual contradict to what is acceptable. This
may lead to conflict and serious fight. That is why there is a need to establish rules and regulations.
Without a proper guideline to follow, no one has their limits in doing anything. This makes it impossible
to achieve a peaceful society.

With this, we can really say that rules and regulations are needed. As we maintain this, we bring
safety and promote well being as well as builds trust, fairness, understanding and tight relationship with
one another.
