Default Pay Scale/Grade structure from table V_001P_C

This is just to make sure pay scale data can also default from a table V_001P_C, not only from feature TARIF.
We can default both pay scale structure and pay grade structure by using this.

Give some dummy values as 05 & 01 for your PA and PSA combination.
TARIF feature with some blank return value for your EE criteria (EG/ESG/PA/PSA or any other decision).

Return values
/  Default Pay scale structure
/ /S  Default Pay grade structure

There is no definition for our Employee group ‘L’, so system goes to other wise and default blank pay grade
structure (05, 01), actual pay grade structure will be defaulted from above table.
Pay grade structures are mandatory, when we use compensation or enterprise compensation management
modules (CM/ECM)
We do job surveys in these CM/ECM modules, for market corrections of salaries.

Pay scale & Pay grade structure both can be maintained for a Job.

Both pay scale structure & Pay grade structure will have salary ranges. Pay scale structure salary range can be
defined in the below configuration node.

SPRO – PM – PA – Payroll Data – Basic Pay - Define pay scale salary ranges (V_T510N)
OH11 or PU30 (WT Creation) different options

Wage types can be created from T-code OH11 or PU30, both T-Codes takes you to same screen.

 By clicking on “Wage type group” push button, you can change WT group to IT 0014, IT 0015, 0008 or
any other available in the drop down list. When ever you change WT group, system defaults wage types
which are permissible in that Infotype.
 Test run will not create WT, un-checking this check box will create the WT (Live run)
 Several languages check mark indicates that, text of model/reference WT exists in multiple languages. If
you want to coy other languages text click on “Other Languages” push button and select what all
languages to be copied to new the wage type.
 “Copy all entries” radio button, copies all entries (i.e., all records) of the wage type.
 If you keep date 01.01.2015 in “Entries from validity date”, system copies only entries which are active on
01.01.2015.

Example WT 6781 is a OT WT and it has records like this

01.01.2013 – 31.12.2013  Over time 150%
01.01.2014 – 31.12.2014  Over time 180%
01.01.2015 – 31.12.9999  Over time 200%

Even though 6781 has 3 records, system copies only the last record for new WT.

 “Copy wage type1” – If you want create 4 wage types by copying from same model wage type you can
use this option.
You need to specify, what is start wage type number, difference in between two wage type, how many
wage types need to be created.

Amount Section

Minimum and Maximum Amount: You can specify minimum and maximum value for wage types, system throws
an error if user is entering a value lesser than the specified minimum value. System also throws an error, if user
enters a value more than the maximum value specified.

Add to total: This check mark is for only IT 0008, if it checked the WT amount will be added total employee salary
displayed at the bottom (right side) of the screen, if it is not checked for a WT, that WT value will not be added to
total salary but will still be considered for annual salary based upon base wage type valuation (V_T539J)
configuration.

Deduction WT: This will be checked for deduction wage types.

Input Combination Section

Amount & Number: Here we will specify whether amount is required or number is required or both are required or
none of them are required for a wage type.

+ +  Both are mandatory

+ -  Amount is mandatory, Number can’t be entered
- +  Number is mandatory, Amount can’t be entered

You can all other possible options by placing the cursor at amount/number and press F1 from keyboard.

Number/Unit Section (V_T538A)

Time Unit/Measurement: If number is required or optional then we need to specify whether it is a Percentage or
Hours or Kilos or Liters or any other.

Minimum & Maximum Number: As the way we can restrict min and max value for wage type amount, we can also
restrict the same way for number, by giving minimum and maximum number.
Indirect Valuation Section

Indirect Valuation Module: Here we will specify what is the indirect valuation module,
TARIF/SUMME/PRZNT/CONST or any other.

Module Variant: Indirect valuation module can have different module variants and the behavior of module variant
differs from indirect valuation module. Meaning Module variant A of TARIF may be different form Module variant A
of SUMME.

Example:
TARIF A  Don’t enter a WT in T510 table
TARIF B  Specify the WT T510

Reduction Method: The salary of the employee can be reduced on various parameters.

Reduction Method 2: WT amount will reduce, as we change the capacity utilization in IT 0008
Reduction Method 3: WT amount will reduce based upon weekly working hours defined in work schedule rule
(V_T508A) against the pay-scale weekly working hours specified in T510I.

Rounding type: You can specify a WT amount to be rounded up, down or up/down

Rewritable: If it is checked, the amount getting defaulted from an indirect valuation module can be changed.
If it is not checked, amount field will be grade out and can’t be changed.
