    Module 7 Summary

    What one thing stood out to you most in this module and why?

    I found the power points and videos on classroom management and behavior
    management to be very informative. Some of the material was a refresher, as I currently
    utilize redirection and positive reinforcement in my current position. I found “planned
    ignoring” very interesting. In my classroom currently, there are behaviors that my co-
    teacher and I don’t give attention to. I had no idea that this was even a strategy for
    behavior management. One of the biggest tips, I feel is important for any teacher, is to
    “establish consistency”. Another is ensuring that students feel safe and respected in the
    classroom. I am thankful that I was able to download the content from this module as
    well as the others. I plan to review it further.
