Sir,

I am writing to express my deep interest as a Provincial School Board (PSB) teacher. My name is
John Gilbert B. Paltao and a graduate of Philippine Normal University – North Luzon Campus.
Having recently obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education Major in English and
having passed the Licensure examination for teachers this September, I wish to bring my
knowledge, skills and commitment for excellence to your school’s state of the art education.

During my learning years, I have become equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills
coupled by on the job trainings, participation in various organizations, personnel development and
compensation as well as seminar and trainings on language, K-12 Curriculum and leadership.

My internship at Cauayan City National High School also afforded me with the crucial skills to
cope up with the ever changing world of the teaching profession. Furthermore, my teaching loads
at Philippine Yuh Chiau School has developed in me enthusiasm, passion for teaching and has
subsequently convinced me that imparting my knowledge to my students is my true calling.

Aside from learning the awareness for work ethics and professionalism, my learning-teaching
years also afforded me to constantly practice extracurricular skills like the capability to play
multiple instruments, and coach sporting events.
