1. What do you think is Cabalfin’s personality type and why do you say so?
I strongly believe that Cabalfin possesses a sanguine and choleric personality type for the
reason that he is a lively person and he seems to be a very goal-oriented individual. Also, I believe
that his aggressiveness in playing basketball shows that he is a straightforward person because he
could easily express his impression or emotions with other people. He also gives me the idea that
he is likely to have less companions in life due to his attitude. In fact, it was mentioned that his
two marriages ended in divorce.
2. What do you think is his management style? Why?
3. What are his strong points and weak points as manager?
In my opinion, being a goal-oriented individual is his strongest point. He was doing well
in his work due to his drive for achieving success. As a manager, he would be someone that his
employee would look up to and it is likely that they would be motivated in performing at their best
capacity at work. Also, his passion and determination in his career as a manager persists. Leading
seven meetings in less than a day, and still able to attend a dinner, it shows how dedicated he is
with his work. However, being too serious with his work might negatively affect his employee. It
might come to a point where the employees would see Cabalfin as a boring manager, almost
functioning like a robot. Once in a while, it is important to take a break and relieve one’s self of
the stress from work. Disregarding this fact would lead to disappointment and lack of motivation
in accomplishing a task.
4. Your business have plans for expansion in the ASEAN region. Will you consider him as
strong candidate for this expansion? Are you promoting him? Explain your answer.
I think that he deserves to be promoted and lead the expansion in the ASEAN region due
to the fact that I could see his passion and dedication with his work as a manager. He is a goal-
