1. A square pyramid of side of base 60 mm and altitude 80 mm resting with its base
on HP is cut by a cutting plane inclined at 500 to the axis and intersecting it at a point of distance
45 mm from the base. Draw the development of the pyramid.
2. A pentagonal pyramid of base40 mm and height 90 mm stands vertical with one base edge parallel
to VP. It is cut by a plane inclined at 550 to HP bisecting the axis. Draw the development.
3. A cone of base diameter 60 mm and axis length 80 mm rests with its base on HP. A
sectional plane perpendicular to VP and inclined at 400 to HP, bisecting the axis of the
cone. Draw the development of the truncated cone.
4. A pentagonal pyramid of base 40mm and axis 60mm rest with base on H.P. one of the edge is
parallel to V.P. and it is cut by a plane inclined at 350 & passing through the axis 35mm above the
base.
5. A pentagonal pyramid of side 30mm and axis 60mm rest with base parallel to V.P. it is cut by two
planes one is horizontal and cuts the portion on the left of the axis at 20mm above the base and
other plane is inclined at 450 to H.P. Draw the development.
6. A cylinder of base diameter 60mm and axis 80mm is resting on HP on its base. A cylindrical hole
of 45mm diameter is drilled on the surface of the cylinder. The axis of the hole intersects with the
axis of the cylinder at right angles and bisects axis of this cylinder. Draw the development of the
lateral surface of the cylinder.
7. Draw the development of the lateral surface of the right portion of the cylinder of diameter 50mm
and height 65mm cut by a plane inclined at 600 to the base and passing through the axis at a height
of 40mm above the base.
