Immersive Telepresence will give Hon. Chief Minister and Water
Resources Department team a true to life teleconferencing
facility. Coupled with Integrated Water Management Command
Center, every one participating in the Immersive Telepresence
system can have a real-time view of the water assets across the
state. Based on the topic being discussed the team can bring up
more detailed information about the relevant water assets, and
the same information will be visible on all the screens
participating in the teleconference. This will enable everyone
participating to look at the same information and make
informed decisions faster. Team can navigate to any of the
following screens on-demand:
 Consolidated view of water assets across the state

 Current state of all surface water assets across the state

 Specific river basin view – all relevant reservoirs and canal

networks

 Current ground water status across the state

 Variation of ground water compared to prior year or pre-

monsoon

 Current rainfall as well as aggregate rainfall this season

 Rainfall variation compared to expected rainfall levels

 Any specific water asset being discussed

When the teleconferencing facility is not being used, location

specific dashboard will be on display giving the local team
actionable information.
Integrated Water Management Solution

Integrated Water Management Solution (IWM) provides near

real-time visibility into the water assets across the region
so that a Water Balance Sheet can be prepared for that
region. Internet of Things (IoT) is a key technology we can
leverage to get real time visibility and accountability into
the last mile processes. All the major water assets will be
equipped with IoT water sensors to transmit information
regarding level and flow of water in real-time.
