OBJECTIVES
This experiment intended:

1. To familiarize oneself with the different equipment used in Physics

Laboratory.

THEORY
The equipment or apparatus provided for the laboratory experiments must
be handled carefully for they are expensive and will be used by other students.

Familiarization with this equipment means learning how to use and how to
take care of the instruments. If a piece of equipment is broken or is not
functioning properly, it should be reported to your laboratory instructor.

PROCEDURE

The following instruments and devices will be used in this course:

1. Vernier Caliper 11. Metal pan or weight hanger

2. Micrometer Caliper 12. Ballistic Pendulum
3. Force Table 13. Force Frame
4. Meter Stick 14. Model Balance
5. Triple Beam Balance 15. Iron Stand
6. Spring Balance 16. Tuning Fork
7. Set of weights 17. Melde’s Apparatus
8. Digital timer 18. Kundt’s Tube
9. Inclined plane 19. Projectile Launcher
10. Pulley 20. Motion Sensor

Draw all the instruments/devices enumerated above and research for its
function and purpose. At most, 3 equipment/devices for every sheet of short
bond paper.
