2. What are the causes of priming? How can it be avoided?
3. What is coagulation? What is the importance of coagualtion during domestic water treatment?
4. What is an electrochemical corrosion? Write a brief mechansim of possible types of electrochemical
corrosion with appropriate chemical equations.
5. Identify a methodology adopted to enhance life of duralium alloy. Give a brief account with lebel diagram.
6. What is the actual cathode in Zn-C primary cell? What is the role of graphite in it? Illustrate its structure
and working with chemical reactions.
