I-INTRODUCTION

ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM is a parallel learning system in the Philippines that

provides a practical option to the existing formal instruction. When one does not have or cannot
access formal education in schools, ALS is an alternate or substitute. ALS includes both the non-
formal and informal sources of knowledge and skills. ALS Learning Resourse Center is an
institution which is responsible in the learners to become responsible individual of the
society. It is also where they are crafted to be a better person that will emblem of the kind
of learning center where he/she will grow. Though in ALS there is no proper setting on
where you conduct classes because it depends on the learners on where they wanted to be
teach.
Month of June is the most awaited part for both teachers and learner’s because it is the
opening of classes in formal school and in Alternative Learning System for the school year
2019-2020.
