1.1 Title of the training: Automobile Maintenance Management and
Techniques
1.2 Objective: To provide theoretical and practical knowledge on maintenance
management of automobiles and other equipments at managerial level
1.3 Description:The trainees will gain adequate knowledge in fleet and equipment
maintenance management in medium and large establishments. The course
covers the following topics:
 Maintenance management concept, principles, objectives, functions, and
responsibilities of maintenance organization
 Maintenance planning, scheduling, coordinating, budgeting, economizing,
and evaluating performance of maintenance activities.
 Preventive maintenance, concepts, types, forecasting and capacity planning
 Maintenance material control and cost analysis
 Modern maintenance concepts, Reliability Centered Maintenance and Total
Productive Maintenance
 Computerized Maintenance Management System
On completion of the course, the trainees will be able to implement and manage all
maintenance activities in the establishment covering vehicles and all other
equipments.
