SYLLABUS

COURSE TITLE: PHYSICAL EDUCATION


COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course provides the learning experiences and opportunities to the students in living healthy lifestyle and to maintain or improve one’s physical
fitness status through fitness test and conditioning exercises. It also encourages the students’ development of one’s personality, right attitude, proper body care,
health practices and values necessary for effective and successful living.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the course, the students should be able to:
a. Identify the methods in doing First Aid
b. Execute the different conditioning exercises correctly in order to maintain and improve fitness status through individual participation in various activities.
c. Acquire peasant attitude, desirable habits, appreciation, values, and creativity in engaging various physical activities and exercises.
d. Development social and emotional stability through cooperation, sportsmanship and respect for others as a good leader and follower.

CREDIT UNITS: 2 units/ 2 hours
