SYLLABUS
Course Title: Physical Education
Units: 3 units
Prerequisite: None
Course Description:
The aim of this course is to assist the individual to develop and maintain physical fitness. They should acquire the ability
to analyze movements, plan a fitness program and pursue its objectives with enthusiasm. It likewise should contribute to
discipline, interpersonal relationships creativity initiative, and leadership.

Course Objectives:
In physical education 1 students will be introduced and exposed to a variety of health and fitness related skills and
information. These will consist of: fitness assessments, fitness testing, and components of fitness and use of heart rate
monitors. Each unit students will be exposed to the knowledge and rules of the game or activity, written test, pre and post skills
testing, individual skill practice modified game or skill and practice game or skill.

Unit Description: The purpose of this course is to provide students with basic math skills useful in solving real life business
problems. Everybody needs to know and understand arithmetic, to acquire more skills in using it. It is easier for a person to
manage his own home and his personal financial affairs if he has the ability to use arithmetic.
