Implementations includes all phases of SDLC process with

Responsibilities • Gather and capture requirements from the Airlines. Perform
feasibility analysis and Gap analysis on the requirements.
• Establish expectation in terms of system capability for the
requirements
• Continuous communication with other GDS (or Airline) team
members during complete project cycle.
• Make the changes in the system to meet the Airline’s
requirements
• Work closely with the Airline for requirements that need
updates at their end
• Set up the Galileo/Apollo system to activate required products
• Ensure that the message generated is in proper
EDIFACT/Terminal structure compatible with Airline.
• Create the EDIFACT with required DATA and decode EDIFACT
message and troubleshoot if there is any issue in response.
• Assign required resources to each new product (resources like
: maximum system timer for that product, minimum TPRs for
that product; execute extensive checklist with such points)
• Ensure existing products are not impacted and New
implemented products are working fine
• Ensure proper databases and networks/routings are set up to
deliver the message correctly to Airline
• Performing application/unit testing
• Handover for user acceptance testing to project managers
• Coordinating with project managers for all issues in UAT phase
• Closely work with Airline for all queries and resolve them
• Testing on production system to ensure correct implementation
of new products

Description To satisfy this need, a tighter integration with the Cosmopolitan inventory
is proposed. This would require visibility to more room types and rates at
the property from MARSHA, inventory synchronization and
implementation of a full 2-way Reservation delivery interface.

Enhancing the current RatePlanDeliverywebservice is one of the SRS


identified as part of “Agilysys 2-Way” to keep MARSHA up to date with the
Rates information from Cosmo. SetRates and SetRateRestrictions are the
two services that fall under RatePlanDeliverywebservice.

SetRates:

The SetRates service pushes the rate plan definitions from one system to
another.

SetRateRestrictions:

The SetRateRestricsions service pushes the Restrictions on the Hotel level,


Rate program level and Room Pool level from one system to another.
