What is/are your first language/s or mother I speak the mother tongues Bisaya and
tongue/s? Surigaonon.

How did you acquire your first language/s or Both sides of my family speaks Bisaya, that is
mother tongue/s how i learned how to speak Bisaya. When i was
6 years old i moved to Surigao and lived there
for 13 years, it was because of my peers and
the people around me that i learned how to
speak Surigaonon.

What skills can you perform using your first I can communicate with people who only speak
language/s? Bisaya, and to those who only speak
Surigaonon.

What skills can you perform using your second My second language would be English. I can
language/s? communicate with foreigners using the English
language and i also create poems and other
compositions using this language.

How did you learn your second language/s? I learned English when i was very young
because my mother talked to me in English in
order to train me so that I won't have trouble
understanding at nursery school.

What are your language (L2) strengths? I think i can communicate fluently using
English, and i have written more than a few
compositions using the English language.
What are your language (L2) weaknesses? There are English words that i am unfamiliar
and don't know the meaning of.

Which language is your favorite and why? My favorite language is English because i like
to create poems and other compositions using
this language.

1. Exchange form with a course mate and read it.
2. Write a narrative paragraph based on his Language Biodata Form using the other task
sheet, “My Language Biography”.
3. Write your name as the biographer. Return the two forms to her/him.
