- Develop detailed design drawings for fabrication using
computer assisted drafting (CAD).
- Produce material take off (MTO) for the purpose of ordering
materials.
- Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, lay out,
or details components and systems and to resolve design or
other problems.
- Modify and revise drawings to correct deficiences or to
reduce production problems.
- Check dimensions of materials to be used and assign numbers
to the materials.
